Inagural Address

7 months ago I came to the club with a nano and a dream..............

I want to thank everyone for placing their confidence in me. I am honored and look forward to serving as the club president. There are several things I would like to see happen in the coming year. A few of these are:
Establish an annual West TN frag swap.
Get club t-shirts.
Continue to support our sponsors both local and online with group buys.
Arrange to have a meeting at the zoo.
Continue the GREAT work started at St Jude. I would like to encourage everyone to get off your buns (myself included) and volunteer. I realize jumping through all the hoops is a pain. Especially for those of us not living in Memphis but what an opportunity!!

The one thing I don't want to see is the officers (especially the prez) organizing every activity. In the near future I will be creating several committees. I would like volunteers instead of draftees!!!!

Also does anyone know where I can get an intern and some cigars?

Hey, I can hook us up with the Zoo meeting if ya want. I cleaned enough of those tanks in there. It's the least they can do for us.

Wow!!! What a great speech and such great ideas. I like the thought of having club tee shirts to wear to frag swaps or any other gathering . You have my support. Let me know if or how I can help.

Unless you already have an idea for the location of the frag swap I have a place we can most likely meet.

Three of us got "backstage" tours of the aquariums at the zoo. Barrett is a friend of a fellow who works in there. Our October meeting is planned for the zoo. More to come on that later.

Frag swap - best location and cheap...Agricenter International. I have all the contact info you will need, and even a price list for the different rooms that are available.
