Increased temp to 95 to get rid of Velvet

I increased the temp in my 46 bow. I only have lr in right now. i read on rc that this will help rid my tank of velvet, which killed my blue line trigger yesterday. Is this true? What effect will the increased temp have on my lr?

I am not sure increasing the temperature will do anything against velvet. This is not a disease you should mess around with. It can quickly decimate a tank.
