Increasing temp

Well I started to increase the temp in my DT today.

I am going to work up to about 80-81 from 78.0

That should take about 3 days or so.

What other inhabitants should I keep an eye on to make sure that this temp is going to be ok?

(Just crossing my T's and dotting my i's )

I think all the animal will do fine at 80 degree.
IME, Xenia are sensitive to quick increase in temp. The whole tank of Xenia can melt overnight if temp increase really quickly. In the past when my temp spike form 82 to 89, the only coral suffered was Xenia. 90% of them melted.

Trying to get it closer to the new S Gig QT tank temp, but not exactly up to it. Increasing it by 3 degrees is not that much anyway kinda like a hot day on the reef, well not as hot as they would like it, according to the season temp listings for some of the sites I have been to about actual water temp in the wild. I will never go up over 83 prob.

If I set it to the Apex season listing I could let it start to fluctuate if I wanted to, like they do but I would be more skiddish then.

That way when I transfer it to the DT there is less of a shock. I can lower it if need be, but a bit higher right now is not bad.

Thanks for the explanation! (I am not an anemone person obviously, but like to learn about animals from folks that are)
