Incredible Live Rock Selection

I found this site today, it has the most amazing selection of live rock I have ever seen. I am going to be placing an order soon, I have been looking for flat pieces of LR for a while. I bought some lace rock from Eddies which I like a lot. This place sells live lace rock and some other very unusual types of live rock. They even sell petrified wood live rock. Let me tell ya something about these guys !!

I ordered 25lbs from them back when I got into saltwater, A year ago, I suggest overnight or 2nd day air... They are in cali as well... They told me ground shipping would be fine... Well my package got lost and never showed up, I fought and fought with them, Finally recieved a refund... and low and behold a month later my rock showed up STINKY as ever, I cured it though and well now its good, but when I ordered 25lbs, it came as two big pieces when I had requested several smaller pieces... They are a HUGE alfit and dont have the best customer service... again I was a newbie to what I am now (still new IMO) but they didnt rub me right....

They also used to be on RC and are now "moved on". I didn't notice alot of problems with their shipping calculator.

You just need to do a few things...

You need to talk to the 'right' person (think Mike is the owner). Tell him EXACTLY what you are looking for. You may want to wait till an 'appropriate' time to get the freshest rock (Don't just order...talk to them ....explain to them... get thier oppinion on what they think will be best for you...etc, etc, etc).

Second, you should have the rock shipped freight. Not only is it the cheapest way, but IMO, the BEST. You know exactly when it is shipped and only hours later, you pick it up directly at the airport yourself (some building directy behind the airport off route 7).

Personally, I couldn't have been happier with them...I got great rock (Walt Smith - some of the best around - just do a search) at about $3.50/lb shipped (bought 80 lb, but think I ended up with about 90 lb)....thats CHEAP!!! There was a time that he offered me (and anyone I told - just mention some code he gave me) a 10% discount (he sent me a PM because I raved about them in the Vender forum).
