Here are my chemistry parameters and YES I know my SG is too high but I have been trying to raise it and it got a touch too high. I will do a water change tonight !

SG 1.027 1/2 NO2- 0

pH-8.2 NO3- 0

KH-110 PO4- 0

NH3-0 CA- 338.1

I add Reef Supplement every 4-5 days because I only have a small Ricordia mushroom polyp colony and a Green Polyp Coral in a 135 right now. I add Calcium and DT's at the same time.

Opinions........Suggestions......?!?

How's your lighting, these critters do best in most tanks with stronger lighting. We rescued a sebea about 16 months ago and lighting is what made a huge difference for us, as well as regular feeding.
Sadly, most sebae's you find or receive will be bleached and you will need to offer more time and care in the begining to rehab them. Some won't make it and others do.
Since you haven't gotten one yet, you have an advantage, you can plan a head, be ready, and make a better choice of specimen than we did. Generally, their color should be beige/tan, with purple tips when they are healthy. Normally, at least in our area, they're hard to find like that. Most are beautiful white with purple tips and here have stubby fat tentacles (they should have long slender tentacles when healthy). You'll be doing yourself a favor if you search for a healthy nem and bring home the best one you can find. With good care, they will grow fast, and they will get large, with a 135, that shouldn't be a problem though. So far mine has not been very aggressive at all. I have fish other than clowns that get very near it, I've even had one that rested under it with a few of the tentacles touching it and we had to sho the fish away and there were no problems with the fish (whew!) Overall, if I had known better, I might not have purchased this nem, I was looking for something that wasn't beige for my tank, but in the long run I've learned to appreciate its color and I really like this nem!!
Good luck!

Thank you for the info....unfortunately I only read this today and bought my Sebae last thursday....and yes...he was very white with pink tips....he has moved around a little...he has eaten well and appears to have purple tips now.

Thanks for the info ! ! !

We started with mysis shrimp, it was small and easily consumed. The down side to using mysis, it's small and the same color as the nem so it makes it a little hard to when your nem is eating it! But you want small when they're stressed like this. Once you notice he's looking a little better (standing up on his own, ours rolled around a little, and even spent some time face down) not like a white blob of goo you can change over to other foods, just make them small pieces. We find ours is rather fond of mussells and clams.
When you realize the color is coming back, it will probably be because you're looking at the nem and wondering if there's algae growing on it. Then it dawns on you...he's coloring up!

Something else I wish we had done was more frequent water changes. Since we were feeding more than normal we had excess nutrients that overwhelmed our tank, combined that with more light from the MH and we had a pretty sever algae problem on our hands.
