The pond is doing great, I have the vlamingii and large hippo in it, with 2 squirrelfish. I had a beautiful baby girl feb 25, and after that, brookynella took my system down to its knees. Lost countless fish and I am going tobe downsizing the glass tanks I have running, including demoting my 135 reef to a full blown quarantine tank, with dedicated 300 gallon skimmer and a plumbed in 55 gallon hospital tank that can be isolated off if needed. So nothing new has gone in. I really took a huge hit, and its my own fault. but in the past my system was so strong and large I would take sick fish on to help make recover them and never had a problem. So I am using that negative to convert my old 210 fowlr into a full blown reef. I have all my vortechs from all the other tanks that I will tap it with. LOL 4 radions 2 mp60 4 mp40s. I will be vodka dosing as well. I really like the idea of carbon dosing, in small amounts where you can follow tried and true as well as instant slow down or increase as demanded, unlike pellets where you are already screwed when u notice a change. I am also goiong to be buying those ecotech sleek rails for it. So after all said and done. My system will be 210 reef pond fowlr 100 trough prefilter turf scrubber 150 trouigh sump and 60 display upstairs. And 135 55 quarentine/hospital. Sorry for delays and appreciate all the compliments, I will be taking some photos soon.

For your next build.....

:D

JK,, subbed.

I've seen some people in the hills raising fish in those..........probably works for saltwater also, seriously, way cheaper than a stock tank and a heck of a lot less work than digging out a hole and lining it......... :D

heres a shot from the one side, showing its size, vlamingii is just shy of a foot and the clown is around 4"

Clark clown? can't quite tell from the pic. I miss mine, he got sick several years back and despite my best efforts to figure out what was wrong stopped eating and slowly wasted away over the course of a year despite treatments for every ailment I could figure. He was quite the character in my reef, lots of personality and could tell the difference between me and other people, when ever I came up to the tank he came running looking for a treat. He'd leave me alone but would attack mom's hand if she tried to move anything in the tank or clean the glass, drew blood once.....Had him for almost 6 years, from a 3/4" runt afraid of my damsels to just over 4.5" head to tail, rest in peace fishy!
