indoor shark pond

I am going to be moving the larger fish this weekend barring no issues plus I am picking up a large vlamingii from surfer bro since he outgrew his system, super excited

Good to see you up and running the new tank. I'm glad everything worked out. I tried to put an 8ft window in a liner pond and gave up after many leaks. I eventually fiberglassed it. It's good you got it done before the baby. You free time will disappear. Enjoy and if you ever wish to add a shark, give me a call.

Will do, and thank you for all your help and or offers of help!

Wow to Moriarty and Aquamanpc24!! This is such a cool idea that I wish I could implement in my own house... having such a large space for larger angels, tangs, triggers would be amazing. It's the one drawback with reefs in my opinion. Can't wait to see more pictures!!

a online vendor, not sure if its sponser or not so it will remain nameless. But it was a good holiday deal 160 lbs for under $100 shipped for fine sand mix.

I read through all post not sure if you said what was protecting all the exposed wood? If no protection I would come up with a way to protect it. Moisture and Saltcreep will destroy that wood.

The wood on the outside of tank that will come into direct contact with moisture has been polyurethaned and sealed so water won't soak in before I can wipe up or it evaporates. I have 2 dehumidifiers running with dedicated drains to sump pump and exhaust fans to outside. After I finish my fish room, I will wall up the filtrations side and wall in the displays so that I don't need to run 2 huge dehumidifiers. As far as progress my wife is 9 months pregnant, and I still need to fill it with live rock. And the bulbs I ordered still not in.
