Just a shout out to any race fans that might be in the house --
My family has a block of tickets to the Indy 500 and we won't be using all of them this year. Rather than offering them to a scalper or eBaying them, I thought I'd see if there are any race fans here that would like to go.
We're sitting in Turn One, B-Stand, Box 16, Row G. The face value on these tickets is $85.
For those of you who may not be familiar with the layout of the Speedway, these seats are not on the straight, they're in the pre-apex area of the 1st turn. They're located right in front of/below the Team Spotters' catwalk that hangs from the Grandstand in the first turn. (That's where the teams put guys with binoculars and radios to keep an eye on the competition.) They're right across from where the Pace Car parks at the end of the Tower Terrace in the far South entrance to Gasoline Alley. They're box seats, which means you have an actual chair to sit on, not a bleacher. You'll have a view down the main straight and a clear view of the 1st turn.
Anyone interested? Shoot me a PM. I've got 6 extra tickets in total and I'd prefer not to separate them. No scalping.
