Is it true that a bacterial infection on a seahorse snout will be a white clump and a fungal infection will be a pinkish clump?

My horse had a white mass with pinkish coloration in some areas and I treated her with Furan-2. The swelling definitely went down, however the area is still a bit pinkish and she is still not eating very well.

She was treated in a hospital tank with Furan-2 for 8 days.

I've not heard that before, but certainly a white snout and poor eating is reflective of a bacterial infection in my experience.
I've not encountered a fungal infection in seahorses.
If the seahorse fails to eat enough you may have to tube feed it if it starts to waste away or if it stops eating altogether.
