how hard are these little creatures to keep and what size tank is required. i have a spare 6gal eclipse acrylic tank with built in filter, light etc. would this be ok for a little oci or not?

Octopods, are a advanced animal to keep. A lot of preperation and research is needed to keep one and a tank no smaller than 30gln is needed with heavy filtration. If you read a lot of the back posts in this forum, you will have a good idea of what is needed.

A little late here, but I thought I'd chime in. Cephalapoder is right, but blue rings are very tiny and could be kept in a 6 with room to spare. Just keep in mind they are extremely venomous and security is of the utmost importance. They can fit through even the smallest of holes. Definetely not for beginners, but it can be done.

Would a blue-ring octo go out of it's way to bite someone.
How does one clean the tank with something deadly in it?
Just curious... if magnet what do you do when it falls?
;)

TIA
