Injured Clown

Hey,

My clownfish jumped the surface skimmer in my Nanocube and got stuck inbetween the intake and the cassette overnight. I freed him in the morning and he was very pale and swimming all stupidly (upside down etc). He finally laid on the bottom and starting breathing hard, and my cleanershrimp jumped on him and started doing like CPR....

Do you think he will make it. Is there anything else I can do for him?

If there are any other fish in the aquarium, the injured fish can benefit from being separated in a hospital tank. If you do you can do some additional things there. You can lower the specific gravity to about 1.015. While in quarantine you can treat the water with Maracyn Two for Saltwater fishes.

The other thing you can do is improve its food by using supplements (vitamins and fats) and using beta glucan to boost its immune system. This is more info on that:
