Sounds like Ebay wins! I'll double check as I have to Pick up my Coralife salt they special order for me tomorrow eve. I will get the exact price from Sean and let you know.
Bill

Thanks Bill! Let me know if our discount thing work towards it! I'm also contacting Critters tomorrow to talk to Chris about order in large bulk and see what kind of deals we can get. I know before we were paying around $35 for the 200g box.

I think $35 was when we did the super huge order at the last swap so to get that deal again it would have to be a large # of boxes.

Hi Bill!! Long time no see :) I need some salt also and will probably just shoot up to Ebay this week sometime. $40 for the box is hard to beat. Also that is the club discount price.

I've been here, Where have you been? The last few messages I sent you I never got any response. Figured you were busy with other things. Anyway how you been, All well I hope.
OK here Is the Salt Price 39.36 + tax out the Door for 43.00 for The 200 gal mix. Just call Sean and make your own arraingements for when you can Pick Up...
Bill

He will be ordering them by Monday and we should get it by middle of next week. Please list amount you want and your contact information! Thanks!!!

On the topic of salt, anyone here try the new Brightwell Aquatics salt?

Im looking into it now. Will know more next week and might try it. The Oceanic has done great an beats the pants off of IO or reef crystals at a similar price point. The brigthwell is only being offered in 150 gallon buckets so the price point may not be worth the change since the Oceanic does so well for me, but we shall see :-)

Marinedepot and others have it for sale in 50 gallon packages too. I think I'm going to order a bag tomorrow.

As much of water change I do in a week, IO would be the best deal for me. I have tried Oceanic and it's done ok for me. I use IO and just add extra additive and it's just as good as the other brands IMO.

Andy and zach I'm testing BW salt and they also sale them 300gal boxes. I order from ebay. The one thing I don't like is that the salt is in one big bag in a box that also is about 88lb. And for now BW has a sale on there salt. I htink they also got 150gal box too that they sale. So far for $$ of BW salt is lil high. The params are low here's what I got so far. I've done two water changs so far.

380ppm cal
170ppm alk
1420 mag
this is all I've tested for. so far I don't see a big change. I was use seacham reef and reefcrystale. I will keep you posted. I was going start it's own thread.
Well hope this helps a lil. If anyone has any question just pm me.

Late me add one more thing. I make my salt salinity at 1.0255 or 1.0264 I try to keep it at 34-35sg. Sorry for the jacking.

Having a bad day, Bill?

;)

I seriously doubt Michael is trying to make you look like an idiot. He simply asked you to check if we could get a discount at Emerald Bay and in the same sentence said he was checking with the Critter. :)
