Never dipped corals in my past tanks, but I probably should start with my next. I cant find this stuff though, and never hear a brand name, or maybe that is the brand?? Where do I buy it, and any other dips needed?

It is dog heart worm medication available by prescription only. Novartis makes it.

I agree, I would dip acro's in something like Lugol's. I've heard there is no proof that it'll kill redbugs, but, IMHO, I would find it quite extraordinary that the Lugol's will kill copepods, amphipods, and even acro crabs...but not red bugs, which are in fact just TINY pods. Again, JMO.

I use the interceptor as an ACRO dip. I find it less stressful than lugols and the acros seem to react positive to it's "beefy flavor". i've bought heavy infested ORA frags for a steal and healed everyone up using this dip at 2x strength for 8 hrs. In a very large fishbowl, I place a powerhead to swirl the water in a curcular motion around the glass. Then drop in the medication and put the ACRO frag in the middle for 8 hrs. Worked great thusfar. ;)
