interceptor treatment question

I have interceptor "tasty chews" and not the original tablets. It has praziquantel added in it for tapeworms. I'm QTing a frogspawn to get rid of these white bugs, but does anybody tried these or have information on whether this new ingredient has any potential harmful effects?

What "white bugs" are you talking about that bother a frogspawn?

I'd skip the Interceptor on it. Instead, I'd get some Bayer Advanced insecticide from your local hardware store. Dip the coral in a mixture of 2 cups tank water to 0.5ml Bayer for about 15 minutes, then rinse the coral off in another container of tank water before putting it into the tank. It kills most of the pods, flatworms, you name it without bothering the coral. "Whisperer" has a thread on it here on RC. Pretty good stuff...just be careful with it.

And, for the record, Prazi is reef safe except for any worms you may have....but I don't know what other ingredients are in the "tasty chews" to make them "tasty."
