interceptor

anybody locally know of a vet that i could get some interceptor pills from? or anyone locally have any there looking to sell?

a few of my sps have had some bad PE over the last week. i took a closer look and ive see a bunch on my larry jackson frag, its pretty much infested. its the only frag that i can see them on, but i have some valida thats had some bad PE recently too, even though i cant see them, id rather play it safe and treat the whole tank rather than just one or two pieces.

i got a frag pack from someone like 3 weeks ago and i didnt dip them, there the only recent addition and now:

Teen,
someone over on Manhatten reefs posted he had some to sell/trade yesterday at the frag swap. post over there maybe he still has it.
I saw your buy for those corals a few weeks ago, they looked real nice.. too bad this happened.

im not 100%sure they were from him. the only corals i added to the tank before them were the 2 corals i got from nerac, which i dipped, turkey basted, and inspected. before those two, i hadn't added corals in a few months.

Hey Constantine, no problem treating the whole tank. I did it along with Tony from reef exotics a few years ago. The corals responded qiuckly . I only went with two doses not the three that Tony used. I was amazed at the improved pe and color on the stonies. Good luck, Mike

this is still the only coral i see them on, so im not sure where they came from. ive had this piece since september, it browned out and pretty much went dormant for like a month. it then started growing and encrusting and i broke it off its base by accident. now its encrusting the rock its on nicely, its sprowted about 7 branches as you can see and now it has the red bugs. i dont want to break it off the rock its on now and hault the growth even more, so i figured ill just play it safe and treat the whole tank.

how many tablets you think im going to need and waht strengths? id like to do all 3 treatments. its a 30 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump so 40 gallons total.

They are probably on some others. You will notice other corals looking better after the treatment. I forgot the dosage but if you contact Tony he should have it. Many people live with the bugs thinking their corals are doing ok. After treatment they are quick to realize they should have done it sooner.

What is PE and do you have more info on treatment?
