Interesting clown behavior

For the past 2.5 years I've had 3 true percula clowns in my tank (due to a shipping error), along with 2 anemones (an LTA and an RBTA). For the last year and a half, two of the clowns have been living in the LTA, and those two had gotten substantially larger than the third. They also left the third clown alone.

Within the last 2-3 months the third clown has started to grow larger and moved into the RBTA (which is about 3 feet away from the LTA - I have a 6 foot tank), and the bahavior of the male (smaller of the two inhabiting the LTA) has changed - he's started trecking between the two anemones periodically, sometimes spending time in one, sometimes spending time in the other.

My wife's take on this: He's cheating!

I also have 3 in my display and have noticed the same behavior lately,I wonder if because of one unsuccessful breeding attempt he is trading partners or just visiting....
