they are all black occelaris

Seems reasonable. They never lost the Orange in their face. Must be cross breeding or something.

I'm with GSMguy. I see three black & whites with no orange.
I have noever seen the black occ's so I am shocked !!! What a nice looking set of fish you have there!!

Someone asked it the clam had ever snapped shut and caught a fin....... do tell. I have heard of them hosting a clam but only seen it in pics noone that had it happening. Pretty cool.

black and white percs are really nice clowns some never lose the orange face but i would be the ones you have with orange face will lose it at some point
that female is a percect specimin congrats

Very nice. We should be picking ours up at the store on Saturday, and I hope they turn out as nicely as yours!

The other thing I learned was that the majority of b&w occell.'s are tank bred. Apparently, price will tell you this, as WC's are very hard to come by and demand a hefty price :)

The one in the middle is one of the pair that is smaller. Its face is orange from the front, cant see it in the picture. I will take another one.

As for the Clam, it seems very happy with the clowns fooling around it. It never snaps at them, it will at me though. The clams seem to be able to sense it and get out of the way when I run my hand through the light path.

Six months or so... It does not seem to mind. I have a very nutrient rich aquarium. My clams seem to grow really fast. I have five. Two Derasa, Two Crocea, and One Gold Maxima. All were very small when I got them.

Just remember it can take months for a clam to die. Usually by the time you start to see it going down hill......it's too late.

Mutants...that is just mean! I must say that they are a bit strange looking. So they don't get nipped by the clam?

The clam does not nip at them. They really are gentle. I would say on par with the current that flows in the tank (I have 4000 gph in my 75)

They are all Black and White A. ocellaris.
The two older ones are not as inbreed as the two younger ones. If they are actually wild caught, you have two vary valuable B&W Ocellaris. Regardless, you may want to breed these or get them to some one who breed them. Their offspring will be much better quality than the B&W Ocellaris on sale these days which is similar to your "mutant" fish.
Can you post a clear picture of the two older fish?

Are these better. The shines thru in the morning so the spots and slight difference in color on the bottom fish are from the sun making wierd things happen in on the glass. They both are equally black, and virtually identical in size.

Great pic of the pair. Those are really nice. Like I said beore never seen any and I am enjoying your pics.

The leather seems really happy! Wish mine would open like that!!

They are much better than the Black Ocellaris these days. You really want to breed these. The black Ocellaris these days are pitiful.
If you don't breed them, I would see if you can arrange to have them send to someone who does. Maybe you can trade them for some special clowns plus some of the babies.
Think of this as a service for the hobby.

They are so old I would hate to try to send them somewhere. I do feel the pain about breeding them to help the hobby, but I dont know how I could do it without spending alot of money I just dont have to setup a breeding setup.
