Inteval 1 with 2 - 6200's question

I have a multicontroller 7095 controlling two 6200's.

When I program interval 1, as per the instructions, channel two never comes on. Niether the lights on the multicontroller come on nor the second pump.

Am I doing something wrong? I followed the instructions to a tee.

Channel 2 works fine in the other modes.

Either the Interval is so long it hasn't switched yet, the night mode is activated and the photocell is upside down or in the dark- night mode operates only channel 1 or the cable for the other pump is loose.
 
Thanks for the quick reply.

It was set on night mode, the photo eye was mounted on the top brace on the tank. It was off to the side to the light, but there was still a 400 watt MH with one foot. I believe the photo eye was right side up.

I shut off night mode for now to see if channel 2 will come on. It hasn't yet.

How do you calculate how long the cycle will be? I have it set at 0-60 seconds and button #3 in the middle.

If it is set for 0-60 sec and the interval knob is in the middle that should be a 30sec interval.

The other thing worth trying is checking the cables between the pumps and controller are firmly installed, unplug the pumps from the wall and after about a minute plug them back in.
 
I tried unplugging both pumps, reseating the sockets on the drive, and on the multicontoller. No dice.

Channel two works perfectly in all other modes. I just cycled through them all again to make sure. Night mode is definately off. I turned that on and off a few times just to make sure it wasn't stuck or something. No dice.

Is this a defective unit, or is there something else I can try?

Yes, Reef Central is a huge asset, I don't think I could ddo my job without it. Most people don't realize Tunze USA is pretty much just me. I have one employee who helps pack and inventory but I do all the tech support, repairs and bookkeeping and without RC the phone would never stop ringing long enough for me to do anything.
 
Sorry, yes, I got it and it went back to you yesterday. I replaced the circuit board, I couldn't figure it out, it definitely didn't work right.
