Introducing....my new tank! 40g Breeder

They have a colony on a rock about 7-8" across. I'd guess there are 15-20 polpys on it, maybe a few more. The story I got is they are unavailable from the store's distributors, but they have a client that bought a frag from the store many moons ago. That guy passes a frag to the store from time to time and is their sole source. She said they can't get any more in, so I don't know if that means the source dried up or if that's all they have for now.

I'd say a quarter, maybe slightly larger for some on the mother colony, is a fair size for these. I bet they're the same thing. I've seen them in a few other tank pics throughout the years, so I'm sure they're by no means rare. It's definitely an eye catcher, just as a single polyp. I can't wait to have a few more in there.

Dinos are still there but are slowly giving way. Hopefully they'll die off soon. The kalk dosing has done wonders for my monti growth. I've seen a noticeable increase since I started topping off with it.

How about a spring update?

I added a little rock, shifted some stuff on the right over and made a mess on the sand bed with some new zoanthid frags I cut the other day

Here's an acan shot that turned out to be a bit of an LPS shot
There's a little lobo that I picked up from Doug that almost died on me. You can see that it's made a solid recovery and is growing well. There's a favia colony that I found in the rubble bin at Aquariums early in my reefing adventures and a terribly out of focus chalice in the foreground.

And a little red planet acro and red monti. Not bad for $10 each!

And the last thing...
This is what I think is some sort of turbnaria that I got from Aquariums way back when. It's been through a rough time in its life. It was hit with a copper contamination, a severe overheating (92+) a move to florida and several alk swings along the way. I'm pretty sure these pics are showing eggs popping out of the mouths now. I got the best pic I could, so tell me what you think. It sure looks like a spawning event to me.
