Invasion of the RBTAs

Very nice Shivvy, I love the flow and the way it makes things look in that video.

Kenny77 I believe it is (2) 36watts that came with the tank. I plan on changing the bulbs possibly when the time comes to maybe something more actinic. Give it a mysterious look.

those clowns how long have you had them? DId they come with that much black around the edges cause it took mine a while to get theirs.

Really cool looking tank. Im in the process of doing the same in my 28g JBJ NC. Cant wait till my looks as nice as yours.

Thanks, I have had this pair probably for about 6-8 months. Its amazing #1 that they were so pale orange when I first got them, then the female started to change followed by the male. #2 it still amazes me to this day that something born and raised in captivity, that has never been around an anemone will take to one and form a symbiotic relationship.

Thank you, Im trying to come up with some dimensions for a RBTA tank. I thinking of a shallow cube that will look like wall to wall carpeting with the RBTAs.

Changed the stock return pump for one that was almost twice the return. Have thought about doing a closed loop system type set up.

Even if you could do a locline return with a flat, wide return nozzel like a putty knife

They would love that flow.

I think the next one I set up I will have multiple spots/nozzles with a large return pump. I have noticed that my anemones do better (i.e. color and growth) with more flow.

My 40B concept, its in paint, it sucks, flame on i gues...

Basically, under the pyramid would be like the intakes for the CL system and the pyramid would be cover with rock to make it look natural. The Base Material will be eggcrate cleverly molded together and silicone down.

Dont you love the locline return i drew.
