Inverts (and a fish) for my tank

I have a 33G long with 2 ocellaris, a pseudochromis and a yellow watchman goby. My tank has some algae (even the right kind for the nudibranch) and is in very healthy shape.

I was going to place an order at reeftopia for the following. Does anything on here raise a red flag?

Hermit Medium BlueLeg (12)
Crab Sally Lightfoot
Porcelain Crab
Star Serpent
Sea Cucumber
Yellow Gorgonian
Feather Duster, Lg
Nudibranch Lettuce
Eyelash Blenny

Thanks in advance.

Sally Lightfoot... IMO

I removed one from my 24g a while back. After several months he grew quite well then I noticed him be quite "aggressive". He would lunge at my fish during feeding.

While I had a few little issues arise, I could neither blame the Sally nor rule him out of the incidents. His behavior was suspicious enough in my opinion.

I also don't care for the sally light foot, and potentially not the hermits either.

What sort of cucumber is this?

How old is your tank? Do you have corals? What are your parameters and feeding cycles?

The tank is only 5 months old, but it was started off of a system that was 4 years old.

The tank parameters are fine. Only problem is that temp gets up to 83 on a hot day.

Stocked with tons of healthy and happy corals, hearty stuff, LPS, monti caps, softies, etc. Most delicate thing is a 3" blue staghorn frags that has encrusted and nice polyp extension.

The yellow cucumber is said to be the "safe kind" from reeftopia.

I'm trying out the blue hermits as for some odd reason snails do not survive in my tank (unless they are sand burrowers). My snails tend to flip over and die. Even if I watch them and flip them back over, they all flip back and die. I don't think a fish is doing it.

I feed once a day at night. Flakes, mysis and/or formula 2 veggies.

Would the goby and eyelash blenny fight? I probably won't get it as I like to buy either tank bred or 2nd hand fish from other aquarists.

For your temp problem, you might add a small cheap fan. Try it for a week, and add another if needed. Get a light timer for your tank if you don't already have one and plug a multiple outlet surge protector into it. Plug both your light/s and fan/s into it. The fan will come on at the same time as the lights and it will help keep your tank cooler during daytime. I prefer the $9 clip on fans. You will probably start having to top off your tank more.

Light timer I prefer: I finally got one I like. I can't find a link to it though, even at the store I bought it at. Lowes

It is a digital 7 day/ 7 event outdoor timer made by Intermatic. It is about 4"x6" and it is made out of black plastic. It has a spot for a backup battery so you don't lose your settings when the power goes out. I know that is a big issue with the mechanical timers. I only programmed one event. It has an override button so you can turn the lights on and off without messing up your program. For normal operation, just reselect run program.

Hope this helps,
