Inwall tank build with corals that "Sway"!

Thanks for the comments!

trukgirl,
This is our first and it's a girl, so we're pretty excited. I'm still taking good care of the tank, but right now my project is to finish the baby's room by November 8th.

Aww!!! I have a boy (5) that just started kindergarden, and a girl 2 1/2.
My girl is my princess!!

Hey, if I can do tank maintenance WHILE being pregnant, you can ;)

incredible build! so did you like the reefbright? got any pics? I personally love them and they def make everything "pop" imo

I like the reefbrite because it adds the right amount of actinic to the T5's I have on the tank. It also makes the tank look pretty cool when they're running by themselves, but if I was starting from scratch again I would just buy all LED lights. The reefbrite cost $230+ for one strip which IMO is kind of high for sub par LED's, but in my case they fit the bill.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

This past week I was honored to have Melev and Scott Fellman come by my house to review the tank. We spent a several hours going over all the aquascaping details and taking pictures, so hopefully I'll have some better ones to post soon.

This is the most beautiful "practical" builds ever! Definitely worthy of asking the wifey to take a look when i get home. Of course, there are nicer and crazier builds out there but I love the cleanliness of everything and how its not only show worthy up front but in the back too!

It is a beautiful tank and great read. I love the color of stain you used and the wine rack is amazing. Best luck with this!

Looks GREAT Billy. I'm going to need to come see that thing in person here pretty quick. I'm getting ready to upgrade my 70 to a 120. Looking for ideas!

I'm also waiting to upgrade into my 125 that's been sitting for a year. But I can't decide what corals I want to keep. I really love the swaying of the soft corals, I think it's what makes a reef tank but the soft corals in my current tank took over everything. The xenia is growing everywhere, kenya trees were everywhere before I managed to control it a bit, mushrooms blew everywhere. It makes me somewhat not want a soft coral tank, but I would really miss it I think.

I personally LOVE mushrooms and finger leathers. I have 2 leathers that are bright neon green! I love it they glow in the dark.

I try to stay away from mushrooms, kenya tree, button polyps, gsp, and xenia. They're just to invasive, but if you pick the right soft corals it's easy to manage.

I got a new phone this week that takes better video so here's an update! Sorry for the long delay I'll try to keep this thread more updated as the corals grow larger.
