Iodine for my GCS

I've got a Gold Coral Shrimp in my 12g Nano Cube, along with a 6-Lined Wrasses and 6 hermits, 2 Mexican Red Legs and 4 Blue Legs, and was wondering if I should get some iodine suppliment for his molt. I'm worried about him because he lost one of his arms when we were getting him out of the tank at the LFS (he made the mistake of retreating to the purple lobster's corner, who was not at all pleased to see him), but he's doing well, eating, staying in his little cave in the day then coming out and foraging at night. I'm really just worried about his molt and want him to get his other arm back without any problems.

There is no evidence I am aware of that has linked iodine as a necessary supplement for shrimp molting. I do believe though that there is evidence that too much iodine can cause premature molting and is bad for the overall health of the animal. Just do regular water changes and let the molt happen when its ready.
