Iodine

How dependenet are soft corals on the addition of iodine, i started using reef crystals, but was not sure if i should start doising with iodine also, if so how much at one time and how often, is there a test kit for iodine.

i wouldnt bother unless you have something like hammer. Or if the corals you have arent thriving. we dose iodine but we have a LOT of branching hammer.

I started adding iodine and my corals started opening up more and got brighter. I dose 2 caps a week on a 300g

5 ML once a week. I have roughly 300 yellow polyps , a large colt, 20 heads of Xenia.

i just browsed around and see products like kent Marine, Lugol's
I tech and super iodide.
I guess I answered my own question.
Which onw works the best?
