IS 150w 20k too much?

IS 150w 20k too much? I recently put it on my tank. Now my Pacific Coast Impors chiller can't hadle it. Any advice?

Out of the common spcetrums like 10k,14k,and 20k...20k is about the coolest of those 3...nothing except upgrading chillers or moving it higher off the water...try fns blowing on the water if you can to help aid in cooling. GL

i have the same on my 20 gal and I use a cheap wallyworld fan that blows between the light and the tank and it keeps my temp down without a chiller
