IS a 29g Biocube OK for a carpet or RBTA?

I have a Haddoni that refuses to stay put in my tank. I have a RBTA that has now climbed down into my rock work and would be the first candidate to be removed. Apparently the tank isn't a good Anemone tank.

The cube has nothing in it right now except for some curing rock. The Cube only has 72w of PC lighting, which one if either could live in there. Except for a pair of GSM clowns and some cleaners, it will have the tank to itself.

There are light upgrades that may need to be purchased for it also.

First how old is your tank? It needs to be at least 6 months old with a stable water parameters.
Second, haddoni is troo big for a 29gal and it needs a high light (metal halide, VO). Haddoni stays on the sand and doesn't move a lot.
You have very low lighting and IMO even the RBTA will not be happy with it. Take note that RBTA moves a lot until if find a plce to stay. Don't help your nem in locating their post, they will do it bythemeself.
Also don't mix two different speicies of anemone in a small tank.

Right now they are both in a 240, so I'm pretty sure the tank is big enough.

The cube is only 4 days old, but stocked with rock, sand and water from a completely established. I'm sitting back to see if it will even cycle. I will not be able to wait six months or one of these guys won't make it.


I know the lights are not sufficient, but I still need to explore upgrade options.

Yes. To step back a little bit, my 240 was combined from a 120 and a 72 each having it's own set of clowns. The 72 had a pair of GSM with a green carpet and the 120 came with a set of percs. Right now the percs are in the 240 with the carpet and the GSMs are in my sump. I just purchased the RBTA hoping it would like the big tank, but it doesn't. I would like to put the GSM pair in the 29 with one of the Anemones, which looks like it will be the RBTA. I know I need to take care of he lighting.

I wish the two sets of clowns could live in the 240 together, but I'm not taking the chance.
