Is a 75 Gallon tank too heavy for my apartment?

hello all!! I’m soon going to move into an apartment after it finishes construction in April and I will be on the third floor. I’ve already decided that I want to add a 75 gallon axolotl tank but I’m worried about the weight of it. Does anyone know if apartments are built to support that much weight? My sister suggested I stay on the first floor if I want a big tank, but I would prefer not to. Thanks in advance

It will also depend on if your landlord/lease allows for that large of an aquarium.

They usually allow them if you’re on the first floor. It may get denied solely being above others.

New construction, the floor will hold it without issue… the landlord/lease is a different issue. I would prefer 1st floor convenience and evacuation safety, but that’s me.
