Is a Tulip anemone a true anemone ?

Ive been doing some reserch and some people say its a mojono and others say its a true anemone. So what is the verdict ? Id love to here what others have to say.

Heres a pic of ours. I actualy bought this one !! 2 days ago. It better be a anemone !

Yea thats why we got him. IN one day the stress must have made it split. Either way now i have 2 nice little guys. Theve survived some whacks by my mantis so there hardy lil guys.

Yeah, But they are Pest type Amemone's that will take over a tank in no time. You may rue the day you put them in your tank. JMO

A majano is a true anemone and so is aiptasia. Not necessarily desirable anemones for many, but true anemones nonetheless (unlike tube anemones, which aren't anemones at all).

As long as you're okay with them, no big deal. They really do spread very quickly. I had them take over my 2.5g pico.
