Is anyone here familar with the Turbo castanea?

Hello. Anyone here have any knowledge of this species of snail? Has anyone ever seen it mentioned as "Cat's Eye" Snail? Any info would be great.

Yes and yes. What do you want to know about them? Behaviorally they're no different than any other species of Turbo offered in the hobby except that these are true warm water snails.

Hello. Thanks. Do they have variations in color such as orange and variations in patterns on the shell?

How do you think they got the two different variations in the picture? Most of the ones I've seen have been the drab brown and grey, but at least one local store gets in orange ones with some regularity.
