I am looking to upgrade the lighting in my 29 biocube. I was think about grabbing a few Stunner LED Strips. Is anyone else using them, if so which ones are you running together? How do you like them? How is your growth? And can you please post a picture
Thanks
Dan

Dan - I was a huge fan of Ecoxotic's stunner strips and owned both the 12" and and 36". I only used them for supplemental lighting on dusk and dawn. They worked perfectly and the dimmer was a great option to boot. I used the 36'' Magenta and 36'' blue 453 on my old Giesemann fixture over a custom tank, the NM453 Blue and also the 403nm UV on my very first 90gallon.

In reference to your post I will say though that they are far from powerful enough to grow corals, if you are using for supplemental lighting and shimmer it is a no brainer.

I currently have two 12" strips running (1 white, 1 blue/magenta) on an 8gal "nursery" tank (used to grow coral from purchased frag to tank-ready chunk). They are the only light on this little tank, and my only challenge was heat.

For a 29gal biocube, I'd say stunners would likely be insufficient for corals.
