I just bought a blue linkia at lfs. They said that what looked like guts hanging out of it's body were a good sign that the star was eating. Is this true, because it hasn't moved for 2 days?
I recently had the opportunity to feed some chocolate chip stars that were on the side of a tank. These stars did expell (but not release) some gastric something-or-other that helped to digest the mysis I had given them. It was a cloudy-transparent sack.
I'm not saying that this is what is going on with your star, just what I witnessed.
