I have some zoos that are starting to overtake my monti cap. so I want to add a heliacus snail to get rid of them, will this snail be a problem for my derasa or maxima clam. Thanks for any info.

As far as I know the Heliacus is a specialized feeder on zoos.
In Julian Sprung's Invertebrates book he lists them as reef safe EXCEPT for zooanthids.

If you do get one and it runs out of zoos to eat it will die. Best to pass it along to someone who can use it after you are through.
They don't seem easy to come by either.
