Is is frag swap time again?

I have been thinking about going Gary, i was not at all surprised to see you have an enormous impact on the nm reef scene. Because im there every few months i always checked the posts on it and there was nothing for 7 months then you got there and lit itup! Well done man.

Thanks

I have meet a lot of reefers in the last few months, hopefully we can get up to the Tucson status soon.

You are move than welcome to come by any time you are in the area.

SEA would be more than happy to host another frag swap! Anyone interested in getting it going let me know and we can plan for it. We would also be willing to sponsor it if its at someone's house.

I think we should do both. One at SEA for us that need to clear a few out and then maybe a more personable swap at someone's house where we can chat with a little more mellow atmosphere. Let us know what you guys think.

Mike, any idea on a date that would work for SEA?

Many new hobbyists that have quickly caught the Reef Hobby fever love the idea of a public meeting, especially to meet some of the many great reef keepers here in Tucson instead of going to a strangers house. And as far as I know, I am the last one to host a frag swap at my house, and crowded....oh yeah! But fun was had by all and people stayed til 2am and some couldn't or shouldn't drive home!

Yours was really fun, thanks for being such a gracious host. It was awesome to see your huge tank.

Having it at someones house is nice because they can showcase their tank and you can see how they have everything set up. On the other hand SEA has a huge turnout most likely for the reasons Fitchguy states above. I was shocked when I went to the first frag swap at SEA, I had no idea there were so many Tucson reefers. Makes me wonder why they never post in the Tucson forum...
