:lolspin:I know it is quite essential to feed corals and it once analysed the content of polype in Dendronapthya that they feed heavily on copepods. That's why i want to dose some in my tank so as to feed them.

However, i can only have access to fresh water frozen copepods other than the seawater one. So can i substitute it?

Or anyone can provide any nutritious table of both copepods? (As far i know that the invertabrate from either seawater or freshwater doesnt vary much on their nutritious value while fishes may have magnificent differences)

I've heard others frown upon feeding freshwater anything to marine fish. I'm pretty sure that no diseases can cross from fresh to salt as the salt will usually kill anything that was from freshwater. So in my opinion I don't see anything wrong with feeding the freshwater ones.

Why is it you can't get the saltwater pods in China? I would think they would be on all the live rock and especially plants like Chaeto.

because i need large amount of them:):):) the rock itself wont provide much to feed my azoos

There are all kinds of dead saltwater zooplankton foods available in many forms; frozen, dry-dehydrated, preserved in liquid. Did you look for those? But I'm sure FW preparations would be fine too.

Finely minced shrimp, clams & squid work great for many species as well.

Set up a refugium in your sump and fill it with cheatomorpha or other weed under light, and copepods will breed there, and get through your pump alive.
