THis one particular zoo patch looked like this yesterday. The only thing that I can think of that caused it is the temp raised about 3 degrees in the last couple of days. This wasnt an immediate change its just season change. But now this one colony looks like this. Do I need to dip it in lugols or FW? Is it going to live?

I have never seen stuff like that coming out of a zoa before. Do you feed them? It might be food or poop.

Huge nipples, if you were going to do a dip, it should have been done before placement in the tank, and I dont think a dip would help with whatever is going on with your zoas.

These were dipped prior to being put in the tank. They were fine for already couple months. I do feed daily flake, and lately I have been feeding nannochloropsis. Do you think this has anything to do with it?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was a bummed out today, because this is a new tank. and I havent had a nano before, especially during the summer. I'm hoping temp doesnt become a prob. esp. when the temp gets to 112 out. lol even though I keep my place around 72. I put two of my ice cap thermo controlled fans by the hood. This has helped for sure.

I have seen my paly's do that before, but it goes away. Keep an eye on it, and I bet the 'zit' will go away, ime.

They look bad. The stolons are getting transluscent/milky like it may shed a mucous layer.

Did you just make the frag? I noticed the glue base. I'd keep it in a low flow area and just hope for the best. If any of the mat survives, you'll get new polyps eventually.

No I didnt just make this frag it has been in my tank for at least 2 months. It has been fine up untill the last few days.
