According to the info on the stickies, "The trophont feeds on the body fluids and cells of the fish for about 3"“7 days before leaving the host."
I observed a clownfish I have in a QT white spots all over and appeared to be ich. It was even in the eyes. That was this morning. I set up a second tank to get ready for TTM... I went on a 4 hour bike ride... came back and the whitespots are gone, and he has some mucus like discharge on him.
If the trophont phase is suppose to be visible 3-7 days, and your fish has white spots only for hours or up to a day, would that rule out ich?
