that a mated pair of Clownfish will spawn? I have 2 occelaris very happy with their sebae. I got them last December 29th and they were already a pair then but I don't know how old they were. They rarely leave each others' side, are always "nuzzling" with the female almost always inside the sebae. Will they eventually spawn or is it possible they'll stay 'childless' forever? thanks

I don't know that it is inevitable that a pair of clowns will spawn. I think it is likely that your occelaris will eventually spawn. Once they start, they spawn frequently. Mine spawn every 2 or 3 weeks. It takes about 9 days for the eggs to hatch. I have never tried to rear any of the fry myself. I feed mine mysis most every day. I think that is a good food to condition them on. They also catch mysid shrimp that live in the tank, as well.
