Is it possible that my Duncan ate a shirmp molt

Saw the ecoskeleton in the grasp yesterday and couldn't decide if it was stuck or was getting eaten so I figured I would see what happen.

This morning it was gone. I would think my pistol shrimp grabbed because he is the death dealer in my tank, but just curious is it possible for duncans to eat molt.

ps I hope the Duncan ate it after all the times the shrimp reached in there to grab plankton from Duncan

i had an open brain start to eat my crab molt. now i didn't wait around to see if it ate it or not but like you it was gone so its possible.

I have a rather large orange plate that almost always eats the shrimp molt(my flow seems to always carry it to it).

Although I have never witnessed my duncan eating the entire molt, I have seen it eat small bits that break off and float around.

I would assume that any coral with a big enough mouth would eat it. I would think it would be chocked full of protein and calcium?
