Wrasse-a-holic
A few weeks ago, I picked up 4 lyretail anthias from Chad at Coral gazers. One of them was showing signs of changing to a male, the dot on the fins, the elongated dorsal fin, etc.
Well, I already had a supermale flame wrasse who has taken a liking to the quartet and now the five of them hang out together constantly. And the "changing" lyretail has not changed any further, even the dot on the fins is less noticeable.
Could it be that the presence of the male wrasse has taken the place of the male anthias and they will all stay female? Sounds crazy, but is it possible?
Thanks, Dave
