is it rare for a clarkii clown and a percula clown to bond together??

title says it all. just got a clown from a fellow friend. I mixed it with my clarkii. they shared there dance and just a few minutes they started bonding?!?! is that rare??? for the clowns to clown around or its seriously bonding.

It is rare, but not completely unheard of. Clowns hybridize in nature. We even have captive bred hybrids. If they do bond and breed, I'd like to see the offspring.

I had a Maroon and Gold and a Pink Skunk that spent 2 years hosting together, but never any breeding.

thank you everyone, they are chilling near the bottom of the tank just dancing around. I'll try to photography them later today and let you guys see them.
