is it to late to add a rock tree to my tank and some more sand is it to late? my tank is 4 months old should I cycle the new rock?

where is the rock coming from before your tank? shipping, LFS, hobbyist?

if you know it came from an already cycled source and you get it to your tank pronto (< hour or two, assuming stays wet), then it likely doesnt need to be cycled again. but if you are having it shipped or it is going to stay in air or stagnant water for too long, then it is recommended to cycle it again so that you don't have an ammonia spike.

Once your tank is mature, you can even add raw dry rock to the tank or sump, May get locally green rock with algae, but it'll go away. Just don't push it too much when your tank is new.
