Is my clown goby killing my sps?

I just got a clown goby about a week ago and its been hanging around my sps so the sps dont have much polyp extension anymore because of the clown goby. Is this stressing the corals out? Can it kill them?

clown gobys eat sps polyps. id ditch the sucker if you value ur sps. better safe than sorry imo

Had to take mine out as it was obviously bitting my sps corals. He almost killed a few colonies before i could catch him. Yes they do bite sps. At least mine did and bad.

which clown goby did you get Mordoff? a yellow?

I got 4 green and them never touch my SPS... they eat flakes and frozen...

I did not have all three gobies in the tank at the same time but I have tried two yellow clown gobies and one citron clown goby and each has nipped and irritated my sps.

I know it sucks. I did the same(research) before buying and didn't find any info about these little gobies being sps eaters. Found out too late:( He was hard to catch too. I have a 180g full of sps. But i had to. Used a small pop bottle with mysys in it and caught him after an hour of waiting. He's now living happily in my refugium.

Yellow gobies are confirmed polyp eaters. Other ones are up in the air, FWIW I have 11 green clown gobies in my SPS tank for well over a year, none are causing any problems

Are yellow clown the same as yellow watchman? If so I better get this sucker out. Maybe he will go in the coast to coast overflow again and I won't be so nice and put him back in the tank.

I've had a yellow one for over a year without problems.
However, recently, he has started perching in my blue tort colony.
Now I am nervous.:hmm3:

Yeah mines been perching on most of my sps corals and they're all closed up and have pretty much no polyp extension. I tried catching him right now but hes way too fast.

Alright I finally caught him by siphoning him out. When the tank lights came on I notice him picking at my blue tipped tenuis so I snuck up on him with the tube and sucked him out and put him in my fuge
