is my hermit molting? or sick?

nitrates and nitrites are not the culprit for ths, ver low, also I recently used a phosphate remover that is supposed to be safe.


I dont have any pics YET but he is a white spotted hermit and looks a bit pale and the tiniest bit green, they say they change color whent hey molt, but I dont know why he is so sick, the brittlestar was very active this morning and healthy and it tends to be the crab that is more resilliant to anything bad.

How long has it been that way? If everything else looks good then it might just be their time of the month so to say.

its only been like that today, lol I freaked out when I first noticed but I'm still not sure.

also, he is growing back a claw. and I know when they are nutritionally deprievd they go pale, so does that mean that the claw growing is making him struggle?
