Is My Kenya Tree dead?

My tank is 65 gallon reef with protein skimmer. It has been up for about 7 months. All water parameters are good. In the past two weeks Kenya tree has gone limp. I have tried several spots in tank. This was one of my first corals. At what point would it be dead? I have it mid tank and all other corals seem to be fine

If you can kill a Kenya tree then, all your other corals would be dead heh. Kenya's will go limp for a little while. Look carefully at it. You'll probably see one of its branches are about to fall off. That's how it reproduces. It tends to go limp when one of its branches are about to self frag.

It's hard to tell from the picture. As mentioned previously, they shrivel before they reproduce. Kenya trees are pretty hard to kill although I have seen a few rot away for no real reason.

bglegs, that has to be some kind of a record. I have injected Kenya trees with vinegar before trying to kill them like Majano :lmao:. It STILL didn't work, they are impossible for me to kill.

It looks likes most of you are right, it shriveled up at the base, and on rock below was the top of tree split into several new trees. I am a poppa:hmm5:

Its not dead. They also shrink down at night as well if all lights are off. I've tried pulling these off rocks only to have the little bit of tissue left turn into a whole new tree. Between these and my anthelia I'll never be softy free.
