so I've tested with api and red sea test kits and my KH is at 14. I dose fusion 1 & 2 to add the alk, cal, mag and traces. I know water changes will bring it down eventually. But is it to high for creatures in the tank I have all types of corals and fish.
Most often, that alkalinity level is safe, at least for the short term. I wouldn't worry much. The alkalinity level should drop fairly quickly once you stop dosing it. If any animals start showing signs of trouble, some water changes might help.
