i just set up a 38 gal innovative marine rimless tank and i have 2 lights they both have 15 1 watt leds in them 1 is 14k the other is 456 nm actinic blue innovative marine says each led puts out 120 lumens, the tank is 18 inches deep so do you think 2 lights is enough or should i add another 14k or will these lights never be enough i would like to have a clam in the sand ?

I have to say not enough... you could put 12 of them and I doubt you'll be able to support a clam or any SPS in the tank. 1W LED isn't cutting it with 3w being MIN for any high light demanding coral.

I also agree with the above posters. I don't think any of the 1 watt LED's will penetrate that deep to keep a clam alive.
