Is my maxima bleached?

I bought a 3.5-4" maxima the other day. It's been in my tank for even 2 days and I noticed it's kinda pale in the middle. I don't know if it was like this when I bought it or not. Or if it looks normal I guess. Here's a picture of it now and the day I bought it

what kind of lighting did it come from, and what kind did you have it under?

they will adjust their colors over time depending on the environment they're in, however quick changes can be concerning.

It was under sunlight in a green house. In my tank it is under LEDs. I hope so. I did a nice slow drip/stream acclimation over an hour to hour and a half

it looks like it was pale even before your purchase. the maxima clam should regain its color in the pale part assuming you have enough light and you're tank is doing well.
