This rbta is in my tank for 3 weeks now and it has never moved where i placed it. Now it looks like it is splitting herself , but i am not sure because my other bta have never split.
Does it mean that she is stressed and that's why it is splitting??? If it is really splitting will they both survive???

People say splitting can be because of two things: either they love life, or they hate it. Hard to tell which is which, or if it's even true.

Either way, congrats!

I heard that it is possible that 1 of them will survive sometimes. Is that true?

If they split by themselves then their likely to both live. It's very rare to have one die unless your water is really dirty.

Water is clean and stable . Everything is doing great in the tank. When can I start feeding it? Want it grow bigger , they are so small now.

New update of the Rbta . Today when I woke up I saw that the clone is still in the cave and the mother moved to a high flow place and healing quickly . I thought they don't like high flow , but it is at a place that the ph is blowing right to it . The clone is still the same as yesterday after the split.

Give it a day or 2 and the new clone will find its happy place and be back out again. My guess is the move to a new tank probably stressed it some thus the split. Feeding them regularly is the best way to get them to grow bigger quicker ime. Enjoy them both!

When can i start feeding again? How long will it take to heal from the split?
