Is my rose going?

Is my rose about to die? The person i bought it off kind of ripped it, but im not sure. I bought 2 and their foot looks totally different from each other. The other rose anemone i got is already attached which is in my other tank.

24 gallon nano
150watt metal halide
fuge + skimmer
Ph 8.2-8.3 with neptune jr.
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate - 0- test with salifert.
Phosphate - 0
Calcium 440
Alk - 9

I wouldn't think a tear would do that. I would think it would have split if anything. How long has it been looking like that? I don't have mine under MH, I'm wondering if it's your lighting. They are pretty hardy, don't give up.

It doesn't look too good. And a tear in the foot could do that if it was big enough. The foot of the anemone is like a heart to us, small tears and cuts they can usually recover with right conditions. Do you remember how big the rip was compared to the anemone? Im just guessing that the rip caused this. I am no expert to say whether it can recover from that or not, hopefully someone else will chime in.

I just did a waterchange. Im going to wait until friday before i remove him. Im pretty sure this isnt normal. As for the lights they are 150watt 20k. They were originally from a 250watt 10k. M

Ouch, I think your RBTA may not make it. The curly things you see there are its inside, it doesn't look good at all.

Don't give up yet. Keep up with the water changes, it may come around, but may take some time.

Yeah i woke up this morning and it was time to let it go. The other anemone is doing fine. Shame to the person who tore it up to get it off the rock. Grrrr
