Is my Toadstool sick?

I have a toadstool for 5 months now and he was spreading his polyps normaly, but I start to see a week ago that he was shrinking and not extending his polyps like he always do.... what is happening to my coral?? Im so worried about it cuz i really like this type of coral and i dont want him to get sick!! =/

When mine does that it is usually a temp issue, or a lack of water change issue.

Does it get get flow? Toadstools like good flow on them.

I have a Tyree Green Toadfstool that closes up for a few days every couple months for no apparent reason. Dont worry about it unless other corals are acting strange as well. Give it sone time.

yeah he recieve good flow i think is the nitrates that are a little bit high! but thanks =]

Make sure Alkalinity is above 7 on Toadstools.

It might be waxing too. mine does that from time to time. keep good flow to help it shed

I 2nd reefmaniac. Mine does that every couple of months it looks like a snake sheading. watch to make sure the film doesnt land on any of your other corals it could kill them.
